I (Mann) was personally offended when he tried, like other politicians, to pretend he knew something about medicine; then promoted (and financed) various phony treatments for Covid. Maybe he was confused. Maybe it was considered just politics; but totally lame in any event; not nearly as bad as doctor turned political lying extremist Fauci; because people thought Fauci was a serious doctor for the whole nation, whereas everyone knew DeSantis is just a politician and was new to medical advice dramas.

Disney Corporation has a totally different moral code than the majority of Florida, where they have been given special tax and other treatment for decades. Of course, this should end ASAP, and people should boycott them.

The “don’t say gay” bill (now law)is an absurd misnomer, invented by left wing extremists. The actual bill is so woke teachers don’t teach little kids about things they are incapable of understanding and dealing with. It is actually called “Parental Rights in Education” which obviously make sense to any sane people. New York new mayor Eric Adams is a woke extremist, despite being good with crime control. He is promoting the idea and going against Florida, wasting tax money on billboards, employees, etc. We see a lot of New Yorkers moving to Florida, and hardly anybody from Florida moving to New York. CBS 60 Minutes created a completely false narrative about FL Gov. Ron DeSantis (who may be the next president) entirely as a political hit job, and will not apologize. Cancel CBS. It’s sad that I (Mann) can’t stand to watch some of the same shows and sports I’ve enjoyed for decades.

NEWS: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a new law requiring students to learn the “evils of communism.” The new law will require Florida public schools to teach the horrors of communism, as well as beef up the state’s civics courses.

“The sad reality is that only two in five Americans can correctly name the three branches of government, and more than a third of Americans cannot name any of the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment,” DeSantis said. “It is abundantly clear that we need to do a much better job of educating our students in civics to prepare them for the rest of their lives.”

“The bill also expands our previous efforts in civics to add a requirement for the high school government class that students receive instruction on the evils of communism and totalitarian etiologies,” DeSantis said. “We have a number of people in Florida, particularly southern Florida, who’ve escaped totalitarian regimes, who’ve escaped communist dictatorships to be able to come to America.”

“We want all students to understand the difference, why would somebody flee across shark infested waters say, leaving from Cuba to come to southern Florida?” DeSantis continued. “Why would somebody leave a place like Vietnam? Why would people leave these countries and risk their life to be able to come here? It’s important that students understand that. Now as part of this bill, Florida will create a ‘Portraits in Patriotism’ library so students can learn about real patriots who came to this country after seeing the horrors of these communist regimes.”

Musk is not trying to take over Twitter as a for profit business deal; it is specifically to change the world! If it fails for any reason, which is unlikely, he will either buy another social network or start one from scratch. Long.

The best part of this potential deal is that Musk wants free speech on Twitter to be broadcasted world over, circumventing Chinese and Russian censorship, and reaching their entire populations, by leveraging his satellite network!!!!
